I am behind... however.. Happy 2012

Needless to say, I have been lacking in my blog updating.  Its been a busy couple months.  Ryan and I had made a list of activities we wanted to do before christmas. As well as parties and just getting prepared for the coming holidays.  It was really fun to spend this time of year together.We were together last year, but with is being our second year dating we spent more time with our families together. and it was really fun. I slept over at my parents house christmas eve, and that night ryan was over for the usual family festivities and after everyone had gone home all of us snuggled and watched the christmas story as well as opening presents with each other. He then went home and all of us went to sleep.  When we woke up it was like being a kid all over again.  I love spending christmas with my little brother because he reminds me its ok to be excited about silly things.  My parents got me a Tow Mater Pillow Pet, and i freaked out.  I was so excited i love Mater :)))). They also got me so many things for my kitchen and that was really awesome to, its been so nice being able to expand all of my things.  Roan got a new cool video camera to help further his creativity and a Utes shirt from us.  We got Miss Xanadu tickets and ton a lotion... whcih was kinda bad cause my dad bought her a ton of lotion too... but its ok cause she probably wont need any for a long time. she was really excited about the Xanadu tickets..... and so am i :). We bought my dad a seahawks shirt and a seahawks coffee travel mug... funny story about his gift. I bought everyone's gifts before December even began.  And i found the shirt i wanted to get my dad but they didnt have his size so at the store we were looking on the websit for the shirt and we saw the mug i wanted so we ordered the mug and i decided to look elsewhere for the shirt.  Couple weeks later we were in park city and i decided to find the other half of my dads present... long story short i ended up buying another mug rather then the shirt cause i forgot what i had ordered.  Eventually i got everything returned and sorted properly but it was pretty funny.  For ryan i really wanted to spoil him this year, i love spending money on him... it means i am not spending it on myself.  I found these really cool indoor soccer cleats which he was in desperate need of, the were black and orange and really sweet i decided to ask him if he liked them before i bought them though, becuase i know how picky he can be.  He said he didnt like them... i was super bummed so we decided to go shoe shopping... which ones does he end up loving... ya he loved the ones i picked out, hated the pictures i had loved them when they were on. FREAKIN DING DONG. i know him better then he realises. but its ok :), he got a few other things and its safe to say we both had a really good christmas.  He bought me all my snowboarding stuff which i am really thankful for.

Other things going on, i am learning how to snowboard... which i LOVE! i am picking up really fast and ryan is impressed.  I dont fall as much anymore and i have only been 2 times.  We got some fresh powder this week so we are actually going tomorrow and i can wait... I WLL DOMINATE THAT MOUNTAIN! :) 
Ryan lost his job, which has been really hard on the both of us, his boss was a jerk and he hated his job, but he worked really hard.  We are seeing this as a blessing that he is going to move on and find something better.  Everyone he has interviewed with tells him how impressed with him they are... however they dont want to work with him going to school. He set up his school schedule around his old job so its really an awful schedule.  But its ok, he will get a job eventually... i just hope sooner then later.

New Years was amazing :) we actually forgot that new years was so close and the thursday before New Years Eve my mom asked what we were doing and we had no idea what to say.  We ended up going to dinner with Ryans family at Red Robin.. which was tasty i love going there. After, we went over to Dontai (ryans sister) in laws.  I love her in laws they are some of the most amazing people i have ever met.  Ryan and i went over there with his siter and husband and played games for half the night and then the other half the night we spent with the family friends playing more games... :) we love games! it was a good new year i had a good time spending it with such nice people we spent it the right way.

Our new year is set with a lot of goals, we have a lot we want to change and accomplish and i cant wait to continue spending my life with Ryan we keep eachother going, and progressing in life.  We go running in the morning 3 days a week before i go to work and it is so fun. :) idk what i would do with out him!
