A little of this and a little of that!

I am so caught up in being engaged and planning the wedding that I almost forgot about all the other things that have been going on. 
We took our usual Porter Family Lava Hot Springs trip.  which was a week or so after Ryan and I got engaged.  I secretly hope every year when we go that its raining because i love sitting in the hot pots while it rains.  and lucky me, it rained the whole trip. It was wonderful.  Such a perfect get away, I slept a lot, got caught up on Glee, and was lazy the whole time! Ryan and I were able to get our honeymoon planned which was even more exciting!
After our trip to lava we have had a series of weddings and family events.  Ryans cousin Keaton got married, and my friend Tanner is this week.  Grandpa Trent and Grandma Marione came to town which was a nice surprise I havent seen them in awhile and Ryan had never met them.  It was a really good reunion getting to see the Maughn side of the family. 
Ryan and I have made a couple trips to Lagoon, some being successful others not so much.  We got season passes so we go for a couple hours whenever we get a chance to just float down the lazy river.  I am really enjoying sunshine this summer.
We have been working left and right making money to pay for our future.  My coworkers have decided to not expect much out of me while i sit at my window and plan my wedding all day. I still love my job at the credit union and I have the best work family in the world. Ryan has decided to search for a better job to support his schooling. His current job wants him to travel a lot for large amounts of time which he cant do when he starts school again in the fall. So we will keep our fingers crossed that we can find him something new to do.
