Crazy Wild September....

What a crazy month!
Over labor day weekend ( our first weekend home from the honeymoon) we had a camping trip with Ryan’s family scheduled.  It was the usual spot up in the Uinta’s, There was us, Dontai, Rory, Ash and Momma and Poppa P.  Matt had gone hunting and Arlene and Howie were on another trip.  Jake and Jessica were too busy to come up and the thyfaults were busy as well.  So our group was smaller than usual.  When Ryan and I got there the weather was fine, but an hour or two into being there it started to pour.  The family had already been there for two days by the time we got there and said that’s how the weather had been the whole trip.  The next day was clear skies and perfect. We went fishing at butterfly lake, relaxed, napped, and ended the day with hobo dinners.  It was a nice weekend to get away with the family. From there on we had more family stuff for the wedding and my dad’s birthday.  Ashlee’s endowments and bridal shower turned out really well.  Midway through the month Ryan got really romantic with me, he left flowers and a basket of goodies and the first two seasons of friends on the hood of my car after work. All to ask me on a date for September 29.  I was so excited and bewildered with how I got so lucky to have him. My dads birthday turned out great. My mom put together a surprise party for him and it worked! she bought a giant cake, made lots of good food, signs and balloons and the whole family showed up.  I cant belive he is 40...   Rory and Ashlee’s wedding came before we knew it! It was a fabulous ceremony and the reception turned out really well. I am so proud of Rory.  4 years ago when we met I had no idea of the impact he would have on my life let alone that he would be my brother.  I am so thankful for his example and so happy I was able to be a part of these major events in his life.  He has always made me feel so welcome into the family and I am thankful for that. The day after the wedding was bliss! I only worked for a couple hours and when I got off work I went to lunch with Ry and our family. Followed by car shopping which I had been dying to do! Drum roll please…. We bought a CAR! Mazda 3, 2008 73000 miles on it! It was a steal! And we are so happy with it! Followed by that it was our date night that I had been so excited for.  He took me to Tepanaki and we went home where he had bought pumpkins with a Disney character carving kit and the movie the Nightmare Before Christmas. It was the perfect date! And the perfect way to end September.  Crazy but wonderful month.
