This month has been my getting into gear month... with crafting anyways. I've always wanted to be a big crafter but I never found the time to do it. But I am forcing myself some time to enjoy a small activity and focus on creativity. Its a stress reliever after work. Ashlee and I decided we are going to do crafts just about every other week together while the boys watch football. And its been fabulous thus far! I've never been to Wood Creations before this and it is a wonderful place! Such great things to do. Earlier this month I made a spooky sign and spray painted some pumpkins, and with Ash we decided to start on Thanksgiving stuff. It was really nice being able to bond with her and start making stuff for our new homes. We are both excited to do Christmas stuff, so we did thanksgiving/fall for the month of October and we are starting on our Christmas decorations in November.

Pondering this month I became really thankful for siblings. What a random thought. But I am so happy I have such amazing individuals in my life. Roan has turned into such a gentlemen, I really enjoy spending my time with him because he makes me feel so special. Aubree and Aaliyah I don't see as much but seeing them at the wedding and how much they've grown really impressed me. They are so beautiful and Ryan brings up frequently that he wants them to either move to Utah or come visit more often. (I agree). Rory has been such an asset for so many years, without him I would have never met my wonderful husband, he made me feel apart of the family so fast. Called me sis as soon as we were sealed in the temple. I don't think he realized how much that has meant to me. Ashlee is just a sweetheart, so glad to have someone to do crafts with me. Dontai is such a great example, she is such a hard worker and so motivated. I am really proud of her. And Matt is hilarious, he fits perfectly with the Porters. I feel so blessed with so many great individuals.
Lots of fun things to do this month, we had Rory, Ashlee, Jake, and Alyssa over for dinner and a movie a couple weeks ago and it was a blast. I love having people over. Couple days later was craft day. We went to Frightmares which was a really good time we went on a rainy day so not very many people were there. We got to get straight on the rides and they let you stay on the ride until you wanted to get off. It was really fabulous! Perfect day to go! Then we are doing a corn maze with friends next week and hopefully going to a haunted house with the Oberg Family next weekend as well. We've spent our nights watching scary movies such as Nightmare Before Christmas, Scream, Hocus Pocus, The mummy, and much more. We both really love this time of year.
