always a daddys girl.

My dad has always been my hero.  He has always been my number one person.  We have been close from day one because he gave the ultimate sacrifice having me in his life.  He raised me as a single father for a couple years and took the step to be a police officer in order to take care of the two of us. 17 years later he has become the new Police Chief of Kaysville city.  Today I went to a farewell dinner at the Bountiful Police department in honor of his service there.  He spent all his energy and devotion to that department and listening to how much each of those individuals love and respect him was such a great experience.  I know he has always been my hero but he is so many other peoples hero as well.  I am so thankful to have such a hardworking a dedicated father.  I wish him the best of luck as the new Chief and I know that he will be the best in this state!
