San Fran made it to the SUPER BOWL! We were so excited because we actually lived somewhere that had an NFL team, and a good one at that. The City was gleaming red and gold all weekend long, everyone was wearing it and even the buildings were shinning lights. My biggest concern about this weekend was that Ryan would be able to watch the game somehow without cable and that he would still have a good day even though we weren't with the families back home. So I spent the morning cooking him goodies and finding a website that would stream the game live. I made 7 layer dip all by myself, bought the best salsa, and cooked up some honey bbq ribs, and put out Ryan's home made brownies. It wasn't a lot but it was all I could really do before he got home from work. Everything ended up tasting great and Ryan told me later how thankful he had and he appreciated me having fun with him. I watched the whole game which is a big deal for me and we stuffed our faces. He was really thankful for everything I did and prepared for the game, which meant a lot to me too. Sadly the team didn't win, but it was still a good game. Maybe next time San Fran!
