Ryan and I had a really wonderful christmas together. Of course we missed our families back home in Utah, but honestly our holiday was peaceful and really relaxing. We woke up and opened presents together, called our families, then went and saw the movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" (a really fabulous movie). Just an overall great day!
This year I received a Seahawks jersey, new Sperry's, clothes, movies, books, the new Britney Spears cd. Honestly I was so spoiled!!! Ryan was given work out clothes, the entire series of Boy Meets World, a new watch, NFL tickets, and a couple other things. This year we set up a budget for each other which was so great, the year before we both went a little spending crazy.
I've always really loved christmas because I really enjoying giving to those around us. I love seeing how happy everyone looks when they open their gifts. Ry and I have started a tradition of doing a child of the angel tree every year, its been a huge blessing to us. We feel so great once we do it and I am so happy that we do it and cant wait to share it with our kids some day too.
Of course with this special time the savior is in our hearts and we feel so blessed. We are thankful for his birth and life he was able to live and the example he has left for us.
