Some shots around the fire.
First Day of Fishing. Was FREAZING! For more than half the day I could not feel my toes, luckily for the last hour that we were there it warmed up quiet a bit.
Day Two of fishing was significantly warmer! I however was still freazing for most of the day. I just could not seem to stay warm. This time we went with only Rory and Ash. Ash's family had left that morning and Donna and Brett decided to stay back at the camp and relax.
Brothers.
Just watching him fish. It makes him so happy to be there.
Ryan let me cast out a couple times.
I am not fond of fishing ever sense 5 years ago he tried to make me gut a fish. It was the worse thing in the world. He said if I caught a fish I had to gut it so... I don't fish.
But he gut this one for me. This is me laughing hysterically because I have never held a fish before!
Overall the trip was great, and it was nice to be away from technology for awhile. While we were there I read a book called "The Hatchet" By Gary Paulsen It was an easy quick read. But it was also the perfect book for camping. If you haven't read it before be sure to check it out. A brief summary, 13 year old boy gets stranded in the woods and has to learn how to survive.
