I have dreaded this birthday for years... it makes me feel old. Celebrating it was the last thing I wanted to do. I wanted to wear sweat pants, eat cheeseburgers, and wallow in self pity all day. But Ryan would not have it, he made me breakfast in bed, sent me off to get a mani pedi, surprised me with decorations and gifts, took me to a fancy dinner and ended the day seeing Jim Gaffigan: my favorite comedian. It was a great day and I've slowly adjusted to being "old" (its old in my head) I am thankful for Ryan and all the love and work he put into making my day special. <3
