Lets be real... this post is mostly for the mommas, our kids dont really care what their kitchens look like haha! But as a parent its so fun to find ways to be creative and decorate our kids rooms. So here it is... our DIY Ikea kitchen.
What you'll need:
Ikea Kitchen (or kitchen of your choosing)
Spray Paint
Contact Paper
Rubber Gloves (I was covered in spray paint)
Patience
LOTS of time
No joke... a lot of time was put into this project, hours of painting, hours of assembling.
Make sure you paint everything before you assemble.
We also purchased some spice racks at Ikea that we painted to use as shelves next to her kitchen. I was initially concerned that there wouldn't be enough storage in the kitchen (compared to her previous kidKraft kitchen) but these Ikea kitchens have plenty of space the the racks ended up not being as necessary as I originally thought. But they still turned out cute!
While we are on the topic of Little Girl things... I made some improvements to Arias Room. I updated it earlier this year but it never settled well with me... something was off. But after some minor changes I'm in love. <3
