WE GOT MARRIED! We did it- it’s done! What a fabulous experience. I honestly could not have asked for a more perfect day. Getting married in the temple was such a beautiful experience and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be sealed to Ryan for the rest of my life and the life after. Sitting in the Celestial room with Ryan before going to the sealing room was the perfect experience. We both felt so calm and peaceful, I knew that being there at that moment with him was the right decision and could not be more happier. After we were sealed I was able to come down stairs into a guest room and have my mother help me get dressed in my wedding dress fix make up and put my veil on and I was so happy for that experience. It was a little hard for me getting married without the two most important people of my existence. But coming down stairs and sharing that moment with her was really meaningful for me. We both cried like babies and I honestly don’t know what I would do without her influence in my life. She helped make my wedding the most wonderful experience. She worked so hard to accomplish everything that needed to be done for the special day and carried out everything I wanted. Later that night the reception was a hit! The yard looked amazing, every lantern in the world was hung up every package of lights from target, all the vases from every person in the world were painted, and little signs were put up everywhere. It was so beautiful. Before the reception we did a small and simple exchange of the rings and I was so happy we did. I cried like a baby when Ryan and I said a few things to each other. Our bishop said a lot of really special things about being in an eternal marriage and about the two of us. I felt it to be really meaningful to not only us but the rest of our family as well. I loved our reception later that night. It was perfect, there wasn’t a designated line, we walked around and enjoyed everyone’s company. Ryan smashed cake in my face, we threw our bouquet and garter, danced with our loved ones and each other and exited with bubbles. It was wonderful. I know I made the right decision to marry Ryan and I am so thankful for the love and support that came from all of our family, family friends, and friends. We would not have been able to have such a perfect day without the help from my two wonderful parents and all the hard work and dedication the put into the yard and making purchases of everything else. We are also thankful for Ryan’s family in purchasing our flowers and putting together a dinner for the night before. We felt so much love from everyone and are so blessed for the wonderful people in our lives.
I'll put up pictures of the reception and the wedding day later. I dont have the pictures yet. But here are our bridals!
