Atlanta Activites

After spending the day in Covington we made it to Atlanta,  we hurried and found the infamous photo opportunity as seen on The Walking Dead and took pictures.  From there we did a lot of wandering around town.  We went and took a look at underground Atlanta- a shopping center.  It was cool, but super busy and kind of sketchy.  When we are out of town we try to get indoors before it is dark so we didn't stay in the city very long.  The following morning was the day of the football game,  we had a couple hours to spare so we headed over the all the Martin Luther King Jr. sites.  It was amazing, I still cant get over how great of an experience it was to see his birth place, where he was laid to rest, the church he preached at.  He was truly and inspiration.

"Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.  You don't have to have a college degree to serve... You don't have to know Einstein's theory of relativity to serve... You only need a heart full of grace, a coul generated by love. And you can be that servant." - Martin Luther King Jr.

Arriving to the football stadium was a little stressful, it was madness trying to find parking.  I forgot to print of the tickets too so we needed to find somewhere to print off our tickets.  After doing all of this we were finally at ease and took it easy until it was time to go to the game.  The CNN building is right next to the stadium so we headed over there to check it out,  it was really big and really nice.  We ate lunch there and then headed back to the stadium where we found out they don't let you bring in purses. They made me dump all of my stuff in a plastic zip lock bag and carry it around.  Not my happiest moment on the trip. After getting settled in to our seats we had a blast from there.  Ryan and I really enjoy watching professional sports live.  Its the only way I really like to watch sports actually.  The Seahawks won and it was so great to see how many Seahawks fans were in the stadium!  We hope that wherever we settle down that we will live by some kind of professional sports team to support and go to all the games.

Rick lied- there are no zombies here.
