Covington is about 30-60 minutes outside of Atlanta. When I was trying to find things for Ryan and I to do while we were in Atlanta I found out that Covington is the place where they film one of Ry and I's shows The Vampire Diares. So we decided on the way to Atlanta we would check out some of the sites in Covington. I had printed out a do it yourself tour because the tours they offer there are way over priced. We had a blast!! The town is adorable, and everything was super easy to find. We were able to enjoy walking around seeing hot spots on the show as well as dine at the casts favorite restaurant. I fell in love with the place, is was beautiful, simple, and small. When our trip was coming to an end we decided that we would drive back to Covington and spend our remainder hours there. While we were there we found out that the following day they were going to be filming. Ryan and I were so excited! After a couple of phone calls we made arrangements to stay one more day in hopes of being able to watch them film and maybe meet the cast. We are happy to say we were able to watch, however we didn't get to meet anyone. They usually do meet and greats once they are done filming for the day. This particular day they were filming from 11am-4am.... there was no way we could stay that late. haha
