Tis the Season of JOY!

Ryan and I have been filled with so much JOY this past week. So many things to look forward to.  We applied for an internship through a company called Del Sol in September.  We had previously applied for the program about a year before we were married but weren't accepted into the program because they didn't want to separate us.  However when we got married we felt so inclined to apply again.  As we waited for interviews and talked back and forth with the internship manager Ashley, we began to get more and more nervous that we we rent going to be accepted.  Last week I received an email from Ashley and I was for certain we weren't accepted.... however as I kept reading she congratulated us for being accepted into the program!!! YAY! She worded it so well to deceive us. Attached to the email was our acceptance letter saying we would be moving to San Fransisco January 5, 2013 to start training.  They will be training us on all the different products and to be managers.  then May 18 we will qualify to go somewhere else to be managers. Lets keep our fingers crossed for St. Thomas or Hawaii (:.  We are so excited it still seems so unreal!!!

A couple days after finding out was Thanksgiving, Ryan and I spent the day snowboarding and were even able to meet up with The Smith's.  Some day I will be able to dominate this sport, but right now... it kicks my butt! After snowboarding we went to The Porters for thanksgiving dinner, announced to the family of our internship, went black Friday shopping and spent way more than planned.  The following day I was able to accomplish almost all of our Christmas shopping, I am all done with Ryan and he even got to open a present early.  He got a new HTC phone because his IPhone was no longer operating properly for him.  All that we have left is a couple family members.  I got all the presents wrapped and put under the tree just in time for dusk for me to turn it on.  I love this time of year! I revamped up our Christmas wreath for our door and after we snuggled and watched Brave.

We are both so happy for this time of year and for the opportunity we have to move to San Fran. (:

Had our tree up a week early so that it could be turned on the day after Thanksgiving.
