We were very lucky this week to be able to fly to L.A. to visit the Porter's and Warner's They had planned a trip to go to Six Flags and we were able to join them. It was a brief visit we flew in Thursday morning and left Friday night. We really enjoyed Thursday, the park was not crowded at all which meant hardly any waiting in line, and I was in love with the 90 degree weather. I am not a huge ride person, roller coasters scare the crap out of me. So I had decided to not think about what I was getting on and tried to not watch the rides before I got on them and it turned out to be very beneficial. I really enjoyed most of the rides we went on. Ryan had a blast as well, we both went on rides I don't think we normally would have trusted. There is a ride called the Superman and it is the 3 tallest roller coaster in the world... that one was crazy.. not a huge fan. I learned I am a fan of the rides that spin me around a lot, cork screws, loops, or when the cart I am siting in spins upside down or in circles. Maybe I am a weirdo... so what! Ryan loved Scream, Goliath, and Superman. I loved Viper, X2, and Scream. Day 2 was a little harder, it was much busier than the previous day, we were exhausted, and I got really sick. Ryan being the man he is, knew exactly what I needed before I did. He got me a ton of water, sat me in the air conditioning and we ate lunch. After which I felt like a million bucks. The trip was great, but honestly I was just happy to spend time with the family, the funnest part of the trip was playing basketball with Matt, Rory, and Ry. It just feels good to be around those that you love. Though it was short, we were reassured with the fact that we will see them again soon in a couple weeks.

The bat-mobile!
waiting in line at the green lantern.
super man... Ryans second favorite ride... my death.
all us kids at Goliath.
Batmans number one fan!
lovebirds.
Six Flags treated us good... But nothing has trumped Disneyland for me.
Ryan thinks Disneyland will always be my number one, I love the magic, the characters, and all the variety of rides, little mermaid, toy story, etc... they are all made after my favorite movies. I am not there for the thrill but for the excitement and happiness. Six Flags was a good mix up though!
